School Toilet Requirement-Need Assessment Study

Thematic Area- Education

Toyota Kirloskar Motor is constructing toilets in the government and private-aided school as a part of their CSR activities in the Ramanagara district of Karnataka. So far TKM has constructed 495 toilets in the district, however, every year they are receiving requests from the education department to construct toilets in the school even after having the appropriate number of toilets in the school (as per government thumb rule). Hence, Toyota Kirloskar Motar authorized GRAAM to conduct a need assessment study for schools in order to have a real time data of available and future requirements for the sanitation services in the schools.
