Samvaad, a two-day regional conclave for South India, organized by Tata Steel was recently held at the Viveka Tribal Centre for Learning, Hosahalli. The Samvaad was broadly organized into three sessions. The first session had discussions on tribal issues relevant to the region. The second session was linked to the theme of this year’s Samvaad, which is ‘Tribal Medicinal Systems’. The third session was reserved for their traditional poetry, songs, music, and folklore.
