Samuel Bacharach currently teaches at Cornell University’s ILR School as the McKelvey-Grant Professor of Labor Management. He serves as the Director of ILR’s New York City based Institute for Workplace Studies and the Director of the Smithers Institute. For the past decade, Professor Bacharach’s main focus has been on bridging theory and practice by integrating his work on politics, negotiation, and complex organizations into his studies of the workplace. This fresh approach to leadership as well as his rubric of Proactive Leadership will provide the framework needed to create a productive and efficient environment at GRAAM.
