Reduction in learning gaps at the Post primary levels in India

The aim of this research project is to implement the Jigsaw method of learning at the post-primary level in rural Indian classrooms. A study to be conducted in collaboration with the KendriyaVidyalayaSangathan in Karnataka and Goa states.

Scope Of Work

 1 Introductionof the Jigsaw method of learning in secondary school classes in Karnataka (Class 6,7 and 8). The subjects to be taught via Jigsaw are English and Maths
 2 Conducting baseline tests in schools (test includes a short survey)
 3 Training of facilitators and trainers, who will conduct the actual training to the T3 teachers
 4 Training of Teachers from the selected schools about the jigshaw method of learning
 5 Monitoring of the Schools
 6 Endline Tests in all the schools
