1) No disabled quota in site allotment, BDA tells HC
It is indeed disappointing to note the statement of BDA in the HC. Although, the act passed by the honourable parliament mandates 3% reservation to PwD, BDA says it has reserved 1%. In the past, studies made by GRAAM about provision of residential sites in rural areas of Karnataka found that only 01% of sites are provided to PwDs instead of 3%. Why is the Government not complying with the law of the land? Why is this perpetual denial of social entitlements to the voiceless?

Titan Company chooses GRAAM to develop Monitoring and Evaluation framework for its CSR projects
Titan Company has chosen GRAAM to develop a monitoring and evaluation framework for 4 of its CSR projects. Titan’s CSR projects mainly aim at: supporting Girl Child/Education (Titan Kanya), Skill Development (ANTS), Eye screening and supporting cataract operations for underprivileged children and adults (Happy Eyes) and Supporting Arts Crafts Heritage / Celebrating Indian Heritage (Porgai Artisan Association Centre).
GRAAM has begun undertaking the development of a monitoring and evaluation framework for the above-mentioned projects.
Specific Services that will be performed are:

  • Development of Project profile
  • Development of the Monitoring framework with detailed indicators for monitoring
  • Integration with partners of Titan
  • Testing of the monitoring framework
  • Finalizing the framework |
