Financial literacy is not an end in itself, but a step-by-step process. It begins in childhood and continues throughout a person’s life all the way to retirement. Instilling the financial literacy message in Children is especially important because they will carry it for the rest of their lives. We want to do our part to make sure all children develop and strengthen their financial literacy skills.

GRAAM – Sugamya Siksha, sponsored by Page Industries limited, organised Makkala Santhe in Kodichikkanahalli School, Bangalore, where students put up stalls, vended in the most innovative way, bargained, sold every last of their items and made profit. We witnessed sizeable community participation. The School Development Monitoring Committee was at their best in supporting and sponsoring the programme along with GRAAM.

We thank the School, SDMC and the Children most of all for a fun-filled and an educative day.
